  • Monday February 2, 2026 at 10 am (in-person at HempsteadWorks)

  • Wednesday, February 4 at 6 pm (virtual)

  • Job seekers curious about starting a career in energy efficiency or green construction and earning credentials like OSHA 30, EPA 608, GPRO Fundamentals of Green Building and more.

  • Individuals considering applying to the training program

  • Anyone who wants to understand program expectations before applying​

Urban Handyperson - Weatherization Training Program

10. Do you have conversational English skills sufficient to participate in training and safety instructions?

(Some activities require standing, lifting small parts, and safe tool handling.)
