HempsteadWorks Career Center implements the NY SCION mission of enhancing employment opportunities for people with disabilities

Services Include:

• Integrated Resource Teams: Inter-agency collaborations to meet your employment needs

• Career counseling, exploration & job search assistance

• On-site employer presentations

• In-house workshops: Resume, Interviewing, Financial Literacy, Computer Classes

• Supportive Services – Assistance with transportation, food, work attire, etc.

• Ticket to Work – Certified benefits planning services for SSA beneficiaries, including TTW Information Sessions given by certified Benefits Planner & Disability Resource Coordinator

• Universal Access - Physical, programmatic, language, and communication access for all
